Passengers on board the Sea Princess cuise liner could be looking to claim for compensation for illness after an outbreak of suspected norovirus on board the cruise liner, run by Princess Cruises.

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDCP), which is a US based organisation has reported the outbreak on its website.

The vessel which docked in San Fransisco on 9 June 2011 was due to undergo a full envirnmental health assessment. The results of that assessment are unknown at this time. However, the latest information from the CDCP is that 135 people onboard have reported symptoms of illness on the cruise.
