We helped our client win over £4,500 compensation after they were crashed into and injured while skiing in France.
The group were part of an organised ski lesson, but because of the strict rules that apply to skiing and following the interpretation of the French laws that apply, we were able to show that the skier was liable.
The claim was brought in the English courts, but using French laws. We used our significant experience of skiing accidents abroad to pursue the claim against the French insurer of the young skier.
Because of the strength of evidence we were able to obtain, we managed to force the Defendant into admitting liability at an early stage and following negotiations, our client received nearly £5,000 in damages following the knee ligament injury he sustained. |
