While on holiday in Palma Majorca, our client suffered severe cuts and bruises to his arm after it was trapped in the doors of a lift. We won him £2,500 compensation for his personal injury holiday claim.

Ms P and her partner booked a package holiday with Thomson Ski (part of Tui Travel plc) for 7 nights. The package included flights, transfers, ski packages and accommodation at the Diana Parc Hotel. Facilities at the hotel included a spa.

Two days into the holiday, on 3 March 2009, Ms P visited the spa at the hotel, which had a Jacuzzi. On entering the Jacuzzi, Ms P cut her foot on a sharp tile under the water, sustaining a laceration to her right foot. Her partner immediately pulled her out of the pool and attempted first aid.

We were instructed by Master J who suffered from burns and psychiatric shock as a result of an accident on holiday. At the time of the accident J was only 5 years old.

J was playing in the terrace garden of the SAS Radisson Hotel in Taba, Egypt when he came into contact with a faulty electrical socket. The socket exploded, throwing our client across the room. He sustained burns to his chest which left him with permanent scarring. He also went on to develop post traumatic anxiety.

We were instructed to pursue a holiday compensation claim by Mr and Mrs C who were both unlucky enough to be injured on a package holiday in Turkey.

Whilst leaving the hotel complex which they were staying at as part of their package, Mr C slipped on the steps at the front of the property.  He unfortunately slipped to the foot of the steps and landed on the pavement below, sustaining back and shoulder injuries.  In her attempt to assist her husband, Mrs C was unfortunate enough to slip on the steps and she sustained back injuries too.

We were instructed by a family of 5 who all sustained injuries after using the swimming pool at their all-inclusive holiday accommodation, booked with First Choice Holidays.  The family were on holiday in Fuerteventura and sustained painful rashes and sores after using the swimming pool at the hotel.  The whole family had their holiday significantly disrupted as a result of the injuries and instructed us to make a holiday compensation claim on their behalf.
