Having just taken part in a water aerobics lesson at her hotel, she had gotten out of the pool and was walking on a smooth tiled floor by the sides. Unfortunately the anti-slip formula, crucial for the safety of holiday makers swimming, had not been properly maintained by the hotel and had worn away leaving a treacherous floor for all guests of the hotel that walked across it.

We sued her tour operator, who had provided the package holiday, for negligence on the part o0f the hotel who had not maintained the swimming pool area to make sure the anti-slip formula was in a condition to make walking poolside safe.
