We were instructed by a family of 5 who all sustained injuries after using the swimming pool at their all-inclusive holiday accommodation, booked with First Choice Holidays.  The family were on holiday in Fuerteventura and sustained painful rashes and sores after using the swimming pool at the hotel.  The whole family had their holiday significantly disrupted as a result of the injuries and instructed us to make a holiday compensation claim on their behalf.

Because the family were on a package holiday, we were able to pursue a holiday claim for them against First Choice Holidays.  After our investigations, we were able to establish that there were many other people affected by the problems with the hotel pool.  The injuries were caused by a failure to properly regulate the chemicals used in the pool.

Following correspondence with First Choice Holidays, liability was admitted and the family were awarded in excess of £6,000 in compensation.
