We recently helped a holidaymaker win £7,000 in compensation for her holiday claim after she fell ill from salmonella while staying at the Houda Golf & Beach Club Hotel in Tunisia. She was struck down with food poisoning on holiday after meals at the hotel had been left uncovered and staff served food including undercooked eggs and chicken.

We were instructed by a family who contracted food poisoning whilst on holiday in Egypt. The family holiday was booked with TUI to the Brayka Bay Hotel in Marsa Alam in Egypt. The holiday was booked as a package to this all-inclusive resort and as a result, the holiday food poisoning claim was pursued against the tour operator, TUI.

We were instructed by a client who was diagnosed as having contracted Legionnaire’s Disease to pursue a holiday compensation claim. We were able to show that the disease was contracted whilst she was staying in her holiday accommodation in Greece. Our client booked a holiday with Olympic Holidays. The holiday was a package within the definition of the Package Travel Regulations and the claim was pursued against Olympic Holidays in the English courts.
