We were instructed by a client as a result of a slipping accident he had whilst onboard the P&O cruise ship "Ventura". He was enjoying a cruising holiday when he was unlucky enough to slip on a wet walkway. As a result, he injured his back.

Whilst waking on the P&O ship, he slipped on a tiled walkway near to the swimming pool area. P&O had failed to ensure that it was safe by either momitoring and cleaning it, or fitting a tiled surface with which had better slip resistance qualities.

We were able bring a holiday compensation claim and prove that P&O had breached their duty. Liability for this holiday accident was admitted promptly. The claim was settled for £4,000 within 9 months of our instruction, showing that even if you have an accident abroad, your holiday compensation claim can still be concluded quite quickly.
